Jay Sullivan will host a book talk with the Princeton Club of New York. He will answer questions and guide a thoughtful discussion of the concepts in the book, Simply Said: Communicating Better at Work and Beyond.

Session Description
We’ve all adjusted quickly to communicating 100% remotely, but it won’t be this way forever. There are fundamental elements of being a good, effective communicator that apply regardless of whether we’re present in the room or participating in a meeting or conversation remotely. Author, communications expert, and long-time Princeton Club member, Jay Sullivan, will lead a conversation about a few of the basics on solid, impactful communicating. He’ll share key ideas on understanding your audience, crafting effective messages, and honing your delivery techniques that will help you appear more confident and powerful when sharing your ideas, whether through a phone call, a video call, or in person. Overall, you’ll learn to communicate more effectively by focusing less on yourself, and more on the other person.
